Next, you should look at yourself, who are you! what is your background! Localizer/Translator, Content Writer, Community builder, Developer, QA specialist, Graphic designer.

Localizer/Translator: If you localizer or Translator, you can start translation on FUEL Terminologies module based in your language. If your language is not there, you can request that. Other than that you may create your community style guide in your language.

Not only this, if you are professional localizer/translator, then from your past experience you may propose a new FUEL terminology module like FUEL Tourism, FUEL Legal etc.

Content writer: Some time developer overlooks grammatical mistake, spelling mistake. So as content writer, you can enhance those articles by improving spelling mistakes. As of now, FUEL don’t have much contents. Here are some ideas by which you may start “How to work on of FUEL Terminologies”, “How to create a module for Terminology like ‘FUEL Tourism’ in English” etc. Those will be very short and very specific etc. Other than that, you may start writing “How to get involved in FUEL”. Not only this, you may write official blog post for FUEL etc.

Community Builder: FUEL Community is being gradually developed day by day. People from the world, started contributing in FUEL. But FUEL has a great aim. So FUEL is seeking for Community builder, who are passionate for creating the Open Source Community. As a community builder, you don’t need to be a Technical person, but if you are ! Then it’s awesome. The primary goal of the community builder is creating and managing Regional FUEL community. So community builder can host the event, where he can invite several people from his community and share the concept of FUEL among the people. Also he can arrange the FUEL Hackathon, where invited participants will join start contributing in FUEL terminologies, style guide, translation, coding etc. After the event, he/she can share the event report with FUEL community. In offline, community builder can spread the word for FUEL project, engage more contributor in FUEL. Community builder is always rock star for the community.

Developer: If you are a developer, then you can fix the bug, you can do feature request, you can improve existing system by your code contribution in FUEL’s UTRRS and Assessment Matrix etc products and website. Also you can mentoring new people for code contribution in FUEL project. Other than that you may write FUEL code contribution guide which will be great for new coding contributors.

QA Specialist : If you are QA specialist, you can test FUEL’s UTRRS and Assessment Matrix etc products and website. In testing time you may find bug, you can file that bug. However you may also test some upcoming features which are in beta landings. If you are newbie in QA, then you may triage the bug, verify the bug, close the bug. Other than that you may write quick guide for QA contribution in FUEL.

Graphic Designer: If you love to do design, FUEL would be right place for your contribution. You may help by creating some social graphics, which will be used in social post. Here are some ideas, you can create some graphics on FUEL statistics, FUEL history, FUEL’s award, FUEL’s best accomplishment. Those would be reusable and hosted in FUEL website. Yeah! those graphics should be under creative commons license.

I hope I completed everything in this FUEL contributor handbook.
